Would anyone know why i cant access Multiplayer mode? I played earlier today without any probs(it was awesome by the way) but now i cant get back into it,just freezes on the free roam loading screen. I go to Main Menu,Push X for Multiplayer, loads for a bit then an Alert says:You were removed from your session & returned to Free Roam due to connection issues with other players,Push A ok.Thats it,then just loads & loads & loads.(freezes) Ive checked connection, all good Have signed out of live & back in. Have turned 360 off & back on again. Have turned 360 off at wall. All to no avail. Can anyone help me please or give me an idea of why this is happening. Many thanks Dr Blobby

I've had the same problem from day one. Once in a while I can get on but I am usually kicked within two minutes. If I am lucky enough to get on, I immediatly go to a private match. I haven't been kicked from there and I have even had a friend play, you can still level up until Rockstar gets this fixed.

So I had a similar problem. Game was working fine one day, then I was never able to load single player again. It would go to the loading screen and the revolver cylander would spin and the pictures would cycle through, but it never actually showed the words "loading" or the name of the mission at the bottom. So I called Rockstar 1-866-405-5464. They were very nice, but their solution was to delete the whole game and start over. This was not acceptable for me as I was level 23 in MP.
So here is what I did. I went to the memory section in the system settings and looked at the game. I noticed I had 2 multiplayer saves. One was 108 kb and one was something like 132 kb. This seemed odd to me. I went on a different gamertag and started a game there so that I could see what those files looked like. A working game only has one multiplayer file and it is only 108kb. The 132 kb is the same size as the single player file eventhough it said multiplayer. So I went back to my real gamertag and copied my files to a flashdrive (I am so happy we can do that now). Then I removed the flash drive and deleted everything off of my harddrive having to do with this game. Then I started a new game and a new multiplayer game, let those two files save and make sure they were working. Then I went back to the dashboard and to the memory, put in my flash drive, and then copied the 108 mp back to my hardrive and replaced the one i had just made and that has solved my problems.
I have decided to never go to single player from multiplayer again as this seems to be something that can trigger errors. After I am done with multiplayer I turn the game off and then turn it back on to go to single player.

I had the same problem myself on the first night and thought it was just an overload of ppl. Turns out it was my router wasn't setup right for my 360. Search online for guides to fix router problems for 360 and set it up. I have yet to be kicked off multiplayer yet.
