Two posses converge on a town, say Armadillo, and attempt to hold it for x no. of minutes. The posse with the most kills, or holds the town limits the longer is the winner (to be flushed out).

You can also do a gang hideout, then once you beat it you vote to continue... then you have that whole hideout to yourself (no law or wanted level) which you can then defend from other players... this is actually pretty fun.

Correct, Like Fort Mercer or Walton's Gang Hideouts. Exactly. Likewise, if thru a Public session, the unpredictability of having unknown rival posses, in Public Free Roam, attack you adds to the adrenaline rush/"anxiety" of the situation. Can you imagine the battles that would take place just to capture and hold Presidio (with that darn cannon-lol!) or Fort Mercer (with that Gatling Gun!)! The games we are going to play! Epic! Oops! Forgot that Presidio id not a Gang Hideout (which means a wanted level-dag nabbit! Ah, well...)
